There are monuments on the Green to celebrate the town's history from 1639 including Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, the Gulf Wars and Afghanistan. Though you may be coming to our office for great eyecare, you may also be coming to our office for the great town. It's one with plenty of history, plenty of tourist attractions, and plenty of places to eat and visit!
The Great State of Connecticut is one that has had much manufacturing but that has changed over the past 20 years. It still has a zest for energy and a zest for the new and different. From Art to Architechure, from food to fashion, from high heat to cool cold, it's the best of New England and a town that your would enjoy. If you're a native, enjoy the newness of discovery. If you're a visitor, enjoy the discovery of newness. It's like Columbus Discovering America...he didn't discover something that didn't already exist...but he brought the old world to a different world.

Great Care Is Not Without A Price
In our office, we provide care but not free care. Good care costs money and our office is no different than other business and care providers. If we're not watching the numbers, we're not in business and we cannot provide quality care for you! We hope that you understand that updating our equipment, software, staff education, office surroundings, and payroll have costs. We do take insurance and that costs our office staff: time, energy, and psychological stress in dealing with confusing web sites, long on-hold times, and unsympathetic and unrealistic insurance carriers. We hope that if we are filing your insurance (and waiting patiently for your insurance carrier's money owed to us) that you will have patience with our office. If you have insurance but don't know it, we don't know it! You need to bring and be aware of insurance for us to bill your carrier. Many of our patients think that we are the insurance company...but we are the "toll collector" and you may want to blame us for your insurance carrier or your employer's inaccurate information - that is understandable but does take it's "TOLL" on our staff. To that note, please be aware of your insurance, bring your insurance information to our office, and be courteous and patient with our staff. They utilize health care also and see your dilemma with health insurance and want to help you. Insurance companies are an important part of the Connecticut and national economy...but that doesn't mean it's simple!
